The International Association of Chiefs of Police (IACP) is a dynamic organization that serves as the professional voice of law enforcement. Since 2004, TGD has provided design and production services for IACP's monthly publication, Police Chief. In 2018, TGD and IACP undertook a complete redesign of both the visual and content design and organization. Following an assessment that included interviews and surveys, a content audit and creative recommendations we moved forward with the redesign.
The new publication was unveiled with the October 2018 issue that celebrated the 125th anniversary of IACP with a dramatic foldout in the center. The new internal structure features new content and greater use of graphics to draw in readership. The publication expanded beyond just police chiefs to management and future chiefs. Additional pages were added to open up the content and allow for better readability and to accommodate more advertising. The monthly magazine ranges from 64 pages to over 100. TGD continues to provide monthly design to support our client and their members.
