The Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) is the only organization dedicated to creating business opportunities in the architecture, engineering and construction industry. Presented as a friendly news magazine, the publication provides valuable information to members. TGD has designed and produced Marketer, since 2004.
In 2013, SMPS began the process of re-evaluating its mission, and they asked TGD to do an audit of the Marketer. TGD reviewed the target audiences, goals, purposes and positioning, investigated deliverables, established budgets and produced a new strategic plan for the publication. Ultimately, the publication changed from a news format to a professional industry publication with a contemporary look that showcases beautiful imagery of commercial projects, useful resources and functional information, industry marketing solutions and member highlights. Also, the content and design were based on the Six Domains of Practice for Professional Services Marketing.
