Communities in Schools

Communities in Schools (CIS) had expanded its reach to students and communities throughout the country, but had lost its identity in the process, allowing affiliates and programs to create their own logos, develop unique color palettes and ultimately dilute the parent brand.

TGD worked closely with the board of directors, national leadership, and more than 200 affiliates to educate them on the importance of branding. Through discussions and examples of similar rebranding efforts, a diverse audience of engaged constituents gained a newfound appreciation for the value that branding can offer an organization and its local representatives.

With a strategic action plan, budgets parameters and refocused brand positioning, TGD provided affiliates, who are the local CIS representatives, affordable marketing solutions, including an online toolkit equipped with logos and collateral templates in both Word and InDesign. Additional brand guidelines were developed for CIS national and its vendors.
